It's like January is a long, slow endurance test - you've had your fun at Xmas time and then what...

Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, the winter breeze and all that, but just as far as months go, it's not my most productive.

Even today, on the first day of a new month feel as fresh as the air and ready to get back on board with everything.

We still have a lots of coldness to deal with so we must stay warm, while we are not out building snowmen, that is.

Last month, we met a stray dog around our lake. She was ere for almost three weeks. Of course we fed her, but just on Monday, I was reprimanded for doing so. Some people just don't care enough.

I am pleased to say that she was reunited that very day with her owners finally. At first i didn't believe it, but I have since heard the full story of how she appeared as soon as her owner called her name, Nina - 二, ni, 2 and 七, na, 7, for they got her on the 27th day of the month. Cute.

It was a lovely way to end a long harsh month of snow and wind. Thank goodness we did feed her because she wouldn't have got very far otherwise.

Happy February people! Stay warm and happy.
